Huy Bui is a designer and builder whose work explores the relationship between landscape, craft, and dwelling. Rooted in an ongoing investigation of topography, ecology, and human habitation, his projects span architecture, interiors, furniture, installations, and natural building.

His work is guided by the belief that architecture should emerge from a dialogue between human order and living systems. Through research, design, and hands-on construction, Bui explores how buildings can participate in the ecological and cultural landscapes they inhabit.

Current work includes Olderbark Mountain House, a handmade Catskills dwelling conceived as a five-year design and build process, and Catskills Craft Collective, an initiative focused on regenerative housing, natural materials, and craft-based construction.  He also working on a A Hi-Fidelity Kissa Bar Restaurant in Uptown Kingston.

Bui is also the co-founder of An Choi Vietnamese Eatery and led the design and construction of Di An Di, a neighborhood restaurant in Brooklyn.

His work continues to explore architecture in the age of the Anthropocene through the lenses of stewardship, making, and place.
